Hi Marketer. Ever felt like you're being outnumbered by mosquitoes in your own backyard? Or struggled to get a good testimonial for your agency? Or maybe you've spent hours trying to figure out how to get leads? Well, I’ve broken down three ads that cover these topics.

Let’s talk about ads.

E-COMMERCE

How to kill mosquitos ad

If you want to see the full ad for LondonSunny House, you can look it up here.

I think what stood out for me was the ad claiming to kill all mosquitoes in 90 seconds which offers a quick and satisfying solution to a common summer annoyance.

Also, the video of a hand holding a device with a pile of dead mosquitoes is a strong visual representation of the product's effectiveness.

While the ad's claim is likely exaggerated, it effectively captures attention and highlights a common consumer need.

B2B

Lead generation ad

If you want to see the full ad for Rocket SaaS, you can look it up here.

Personally, I like ads that have a person explaining what their product is.

By directly asking if the viewer is struggling with lead generation, the ad immediately identifies a potential pain point and establishes a connection. I think the message is highly relevant to businesses of all sizes, as lead generation is a critical component of growth.

SERVICE BASED

Gummy-based health nutrition testimonial ad

If you want to see the full ad for Public Nectar, you can look it up here.

The ad's design is visually appealing, with a clean and modern aesthetic. The use of colour and the image of falling gummies creates a sense of curiosity and excitement.

Even though it took me a couple of seconds to realise whether the guy was selling gummy bears or talking about his great experience with the agency.

I have never seen anyone put so much effort into a testimonial but there ya go - this is the ad world we are living in.

THIS WEEK’S MEME:

THAT’S A WRAP

And, that’s it from The Vault…Thanks for reading this week’s issue. It was a bit different this time but I hope this inspired you to make 1% better ads than you would before.

I’m testing different ways to find what is the easiest way for you guys to consume the information, like showing the video ads in GIFS.

See ya next week!
